Welcome on the Parliament's website for individual visitors!


The Hungarian House of Parliament reopens to visitors. The Parliament building is open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Group visits start from the Visitor Centre.

Please be informed that before entry your body temperature will be measured. The use of hand sanitisers installed in the Parliament building and the Visitor Centre is mandatory. Wearing a mask covering the nose and mouth is recommended.

Family discount for visits to the Parliament Building
With the aim of supporting families, the Office of the Hungarian National Assembly will introduce family tickets from 10 August 2020 for Parliament visits.
The family ticket entitles a minimum of one and a maximum of three children aged 6-14 and one or two adults accompanying them to enter.
For visitors under the age of 6 visiting the Parliament is free, so those who arriving with child under the age of 6 can claim family tickets in writing to the email address tourist.office@parlament.hu.

On this website individual visitors are able to buy tickets for visiting the Hungarian Parliament. Our tourist guides present one of the most beautiful Parliament buildings in eight languages: Hungarian, English, French, Hebrew, German, Russian, Italian and Spanish. During your visit you can see the Main Staircase, the coronation jewels in the Dome Hall, the Old Upper House Hall and the Lounge. Because of the events of the Hungarian National Assembly or state protocol events, the route may be modified. You will be acquainted with the present operation rules of the Parliament. The duration of the visit including the security check is about 45-50 minutes.
